Dubai Harbour Project
2 no’s LSI barges were hired to help finish of the last stage of the Dubai Harbour project where LSI has now worked for 4 different clients on 5 occasions. The barges worked for a large and well respected Marine civil contracting company based in the UAE which has been a client of LSI for more then 20 years.
Barge Hamriyah Ann was hired out as a flattop barge for transporting concrete Quay wall blocks. Before going to the project the barge had been drydocked and passed it’s Bureau Veritas 5 year Special Survey.
Barge Creek Ann 2 was hired out as a spud barge with sidewall, concrete deck and self lifting spuds. Onsite a PC 850 excavator was installed and the vessel/excavator commenced dredging works. Before going to site our Technical department had done significant modification works in order to get the barge ready for the project.
