LSI Works Completed over the Last Week
1) Geotechnical Investigation offshore Ras Al Khaimah was carried out by Multicat Manta Ann, under the command of Capt. Dixon Bastian Wangke with Ryan Van Der Linden on board as AB Seaman and coordinating with client on behalf of LSI
2) Floating Ramps installation works at Khalifa Port was carried out by our Tug Halibut Ann under the command of Capt. Iswan Sunusi who received praise for his good work from the client.
The Floating ramp which was shipped from China to UAE will allow RO-RO vessels to easily offload their Cars/truck/buses etc.. and is not tidal dependent like fixed jetties are.
LSI team also assisted with ballasting operations.The client, a multinational engineering firm from UK/Finland was a first time client for LSI and we are very pleased to have concluded this operation successfully with them.
3) Tug Tuna Ann carried out 2 barge towages from Dubai Creek to Musaffah – Abu Dhabi and 1 no’s barge tow (Harbor Ann) from Dubai Creek to Sharjah Hamriyah under the command of Capt. Ibrahim Adam.
4) Towage of 2200 DWT barge from Al Jazeera Port, Ras Al Khaimah, to Musaffah, Abu Dhabi was carried out by our Tug Grouper Ann under the command of Capt. Meidi Max Koleangan.
5) Our Tug Swordfish Ann towed 3000 DWT barge fully loaded with cargo from Sharjah FreeZone to Delma Island, Abu Dhabi under the command of Capt. Marianito Ibanez. This was a follow up from a previous job which was also to Delma island with barge Sea Ann 2.
