Terminal 4 Project at Jebel Ali Port
Since End 2014, LSI had supplied floating equipment for a large first class multinational contracting company which built terminal 4 of Jebel Ali port. Along with various project site work for our Class A Contractor, LSI tugs: Grouper Ann, Mullet Ann, Hamour Ann 2, Tuna Ann and Bass Ann, were involved in towing and assisting vessels to their respective destinations. Various towages included towing client vessels from Hamriyah Port, Fujairah Port, Mina Saqr (RAK), RAK Maritime City, Al Jazeera Al Hamra Port (RAK) and Al Hamriya Port – Dubai to and from the Jebel Ali Project Site. This involved even double towage of Barges from Mina Saqr (RAK) to Jebel Ali Project Site. LSI Barges: Aegean Ann, Aden Ann, Caspian Ann and Merlin 202 and Hamriyah Ann were actively involved in the project as well up until mid 2016.
Jebel Ali Port with its already existing capability to accommodate mega container ships simultaneously, will increase in number significanty with the build of this new state-of-the-art facility at Terminal 4. LSI is proud to be a part of this project.
After approx. 1.5 years of being onsite as the number 1 marine supplier the project has finally been completed successfully and all Vessels and crews arrived safely back at base.
