Project at Berbera Port, Somaliland

Recently LSI Vessels: Tug Hamour Ann 2, under the command of Capt. Meidi Max Koleangan for the first 6 months and later under the command of Capt. Bonifacio Dindin along with Barge Adriatic Ann + Crane M3900s2 completed a 11 month Project at Berbera Port, Somaliland for a Marine Construction and Engineering Contractor from South Korea. Hamour Ann 2 was repainted to a light grey color in order to avoid attention in the Gulf of Aden as the vessel had to go through piracy areas after which she assisted the Barge for various jobs at the project site such as towing and anchor-handling and towing of a SBM Buoy from Djibouti.
The project is a LNG receiving facility which will provide Gas for power generation for Somaliland and is hoped will boost the local economy and bring clean electricity to the people and industry of Somaliland.
Well done to all our crew for doing a great job and coming home safely
