Jetty Expansion Project in Bahrain

Recently our barges River Ann, Suez Ann and GC88 along with our Tug Boats: Grouper Ann, under the command of Capt. Marianito Ibañez and Hamour Ann 2, under the command of Capt. Gulnyyaz Gulmyyazov; were actively working at a Jetty Expansion Project in Bahrain. Our barges were used for heavy pipe pilling duties, lifting concrete and steel structures for the project known as the “Alba Jetty Expansion”. Hamour Ann 2 and Grouper Ann were used for mobilizing and for demobilizing the barges at our client site in Bahrain from the UAE. The project went on for approximately a year and has been successfully completed by our client a Major Italian construction company.

Prior to mobilization LSI’s Technical Dept. had loaded and sea-fastened 2 no’s 280ton crawler cranes and 400 tons + of loose steel materials + 6 no’s pontoons for onward transport to Bahrain to enable the project.
