Being a massive project, a lot of LSI vessels were involved during the time frame of Nov-2017 upto April-2020 for the said project. The Vessels include: Hamour Ann 2, Grouper Ann, Halibut Ann, Mackerel Ann, Manta Ann, Turbot Ann, Bream Ann, Ray Ann, Tuna Ann, Trout Ann, Mullet Ann, Salmon Ann along with Barges: Suez Ann, Kathleen Ann, Hamriyah Ann, Khwar Ann, Ocean Ann, Gulf Ann 2, Aden Ann, Caspian Ann, Creek Ann 2, S224 and Pacific Ann 2.
The scope of work for our vessels included transport of pipes, aggregate, rock, fuel and water supply, dynamic compaction, gravel laying. Our tugs did towing, berthing, unberthing and anchor handling, assisting, passenger transport and general services.
For the above we also converted several barges to client specification which was carried out by our technical dept.
Due to LSI being the largest Marine equipment supplier with a record breaking 23 vessels onsite of which some remained on site for 2.5 years it is officially LSI’s largest project contribution to date in it’s history. The contractor was very pleased with LSI’s services and we developed a very positive work relationship with them. Likewise LSI appreciates the opportunity to having work on such a massive project with such a great contractor !
Well done to all involved !!!
