Excavation Works at Al Nurai Island, Abu Dhabi
LSI supplied a spud barge + tugboat for a local client’s excavation works at Al Nurai Island, Abu Dhabi for charter duration of five months for a good local client. Under the skilled leadership of Capt. Sukamsi bin Rahmat, the vessels Tuna Ann and Hamriyah Ann played a crucial role in this extensive endeavor, ensuring a successful dredging process with the clients 2 supllied excavators, which also included hardspots that had to be broken up by special attachments to one of the excavators. This project aimed to deepen and maintain critical waterways, ensuring optimal navigability for the region’s marine infrastructure.
Throughout the project duration, Hamriyah Ann was instrumental in accommodating and facilitating excavation equipment, while Tuna Ann provided essential towing and logistical support to the client. After the client completed the project successfully, both LSI vessel and their crew returned safely to our jetty/yard at Sharjah Hamriyah port in the UAE.
