Transportation of Soil Investigation Rig and Pickups

Recently LSI Vessels Salmon Ann, under the command of Capt. Suparlin Parulian and Barge Beaufort Ann loaded with crane M4100 completed a project for our good and longterm client at Umm Al Quwain.

The project scope was the transportation of a soil investigation rig and 2 Land Cruiser Pickups from an island in Umm Al Quwain (UAE) to Main-Land UAQ (short distance). This was just a short spot job but it was technically challenging as the barge and crane had to stay away from the rocky area and load the equipment from a distance instead of the usual way by ramp from a close distance.
